What do you love about your community?

The Boston startup community is incredibly far reaching yet still manages to be tight knit. Boston is such an incubator and catalyst for new ideas that it attracts startups of the highest caliber to this area. However, the unique part about this community is how well it fosters collaboration and cocreation. I’ve experienced this first hand, by being able to connect with some of the coolest and most fun people throughout the city just by bumping into each other at a networking event or on the street. Whether it’s running into founders at downtown restaurants or two innovative startups sharing office space, Boston always finds a way to connect like minded people.

What do you want to learn more about?

The technologies that will shape the way we do things in the future. We’ve already seen huge shifts in how we travel, how we work and how we live in a relatively short timeframe. I’m excited to see how the potential of some of these big ideas like machine learning and AI will be implemented into our everyday lives.

Why do you jump out of bed with a big smile each morning?

Simply put, people. I come into work every day and work with an awesome team of incredibly motivated people. I then get to spend the day supporting the entrepreneurs behind our amazing portfolio of companies, which is the icing on the cake. Not only do we get to create game-changing businesses with these people, but we have a ton of fun along the way.
